Layer bowl or breakfast dessert

To make the fresh strawberry breakfast dessert, you will need:

  • 200 g fresh strawberries;
  • 200 g lean quark;
  • 4–5 Tbsp. organic natural yoghurt;
  • 1 tsp. organic vanilla extract;
  • 3–4 Tbsp. crunchy cereal with cinnamon, apples, and almonds.

PREPARATION:

  • De-stem the strawberries and cut them into medium pieces.
  • Purée the quark, yoghurt, and vanilla extract with an immersion blender.
  • Put the cereal in a bowl and add a few tablespoons of the quark cream and the chopped strawberries.

To make the layer bowl with baked strawberries, you will need:

  • 200 g fresh strawberries;
  • 1 Tbsp. honey;
  • 1 Tbsp. organic vanilla extract;
  • A few pieces of lemon peel;
  • 3–4 Tbsp. crunchy cereal with cinnamon, apples, and almonds.

PREPARATION:

  • De-stem the strawberries and cut them in half. Place them in a baking dish.
  • Pour the honey and vanilla extract over the strawberries and add the lemon peel (you can also use lemon zest).
  • Bake in the oven at 200 °C for 10–15 minutes.
  • Put the cereal in a bowl, add a few tablespoons of the quark cream and the baked strawberries, and cover with the syrup left in the baking dish.
